All the names in our Resort 2023 Collection are drawn from the slang of the '70s. In the '70s, 'Aww Sookie Sookie' was frequently employed as a slang expression to convey approval, excitement, or surprise. It served as an exclamation for remarkable or thrilling occurrences. The phrase has its origins in the 1960s with the R&B song 'Sookie Sookie' by the group Don Covay & the Goodtimers.
