On 70s, "Aww Sookie Sookie" was often used as a slang phrase to express approval, excitement or surprise, and it was often used as an exclamation when something impressive or exciting happened. It originated in the 1960s with the song "Sookie Sookie" by R&B group Don Covay & the Goodtimers.
